How the calculator works

Exchange rates: ECB reference rates of 20 Oct 2026. Thresholds are compared in the destination currency.
Preset duty rates come from the official US (USITC HTS) and UK (UK Trade Tariff) databases, checked 20 Oct 2026. EU, Canadian and Australian product rates are not preset yet; enter your own.
US duty is calculated on the goods value. UK and EU duty is calculated on goods plus shipping. Both are simplifications.
Carrier fees are included only when there is a published figure we could cite. Otherwise you are prompted to enter one.
